Volunteers
Adult volunteers play a crucial part in the Youth and Family Ministry at High Pointe. While one-off chaperones for trips and events are always welcome, ideally an adult volunteer will fulfill one of two roles in the ministry: the classic role of HPYFM Class Lead as well as the recently commissioned role of HPYFM Mentor. There are three distinct differences between the two roles:
- A Class Lead shepherds a specific graduating class throughout the years while a Mentor focuses on building productive relationships with individual students.
- Class Leads are typically couples while a Mentor is often a solitary role.
- A Class Lead's primary responsibility occurs on Sunday mornings while a Mentor's primary responsibility occurs on Wednesday nights.
If either one of these roles piques your interest, please look at the description in the below link. If you then decide that you want to be a vital part of the Youth and Family Ministry at High Pointe, please use the second link to apply.
