He is committed to communicating the message of God’s Word with the seekers and believers who gather each week at High Pointe. Brad and his amazing wife Jill have two children, Maggie and Colby. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Divinity degree from Abilene Christian University. Brad also graduated with a Doctorate of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. When Brad isn’t hanging out with the family, he loves to be outside and working on home improvement projects. |

Hunter Howard started his time at High Pointe as the Youth Minister in 2018. He married Kelsey Howard in 2020. Since then they work as partners in their ministry here at High Pointe. Through his time at High Pointe Hunter has grown and learned so much about ministry, students, and families. In February 2022 he was asked to take over the role of Worship Minister and the Young Adults Ministry. He is passionate about helping people feel known and needed and looks forward to the years ahead. He enjoys playing guitar, walks with his wife and dog, Sam, and enjoys the outdoors. Above all, he loves the Lord and has a huge heart for his awesome students. |

My name is Wilmer Rivera, I’m the Hispanic Minister at High Pointe Iglesia de Cristo (Church of Christ). I was born in Searcy, Arkansas, grew up in McKinney and Garland (Tx), and now live in Anna (Tx) with my wife Stephanie Rivera and son Samuel. Stephanie and I have been married since March 9th, 2019. I have a master’s degree in leadership from Lubbock Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in Bible and Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. I have been at High Pointe since February 1, 2016. I love reaching out to the lost, equipping disciple-makers, and forming leaders. I love watching, playing, and talking about soccer! |

I have been married to Zac since 2002 and we have 2 children, Caleb and Rachel. I went to Abilene Christian University where I graduated with a degree in Social Work in 2001. I have worked as a Social Worker, Teacher, and Children’s Minister since 2001. I enjoy reading, watching movies, playing games (especially dominoes), and going to sports events. |

I grew up in the DFW area and went to high school at a private Christian school in Kennedale. I currently live in McKinney just down the street from the church. I went to Abilene Christian University and received my Youth and Family Ministry bachelor of arts. I also went on to work on a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry at ACU. I started working as a Youth Minister at High Pointe in June of 2022. I love the mountains and hiking. I spent two weeks on top of Yosemite backpacking and hammock camping. |

Shepherding Team This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Brett and Vickie have been married for over 30 years, have two daughters and live in Allen.
They have both served in many rolls in the churches they have been members of including teaching, Children’s Worship, LTCA, youth retreats, and small group leaders to name a few. Brett has been a deacon and was previously a Shepherd for 8 years at High Pointe.
The Bakers currently own and manage a business in Richardson. Vickie is also a CPA.
A favorite passage is Psalm 100:4-5.
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." |

Garry has served as a Deacon at Military Parkway, Mabank and Beacon Hill, all in Texas. He also served as a Deacon and then Shepherd at Parkway in Springfield IL.
Professionally, Garry works for USIC.
He enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, landscaping and playing with his grandchildren.

Shepherding Team This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Danny and his wife, Jenifer, have been members of the High Pointe congregation since 2002. They have three grown daughters, Katie, Lauryn, and Grace.
Danny has been involved at High Pointe in the children's ministry, as a small group leader, as a teacher, on the ReEngage leadership team, and served as a deacon and group leader in the youth ministry.
Professionally, Danny is a partner at the CPA firm Saville, Dodgen, and Company, PLLC.
He enjoys travel, tennis, and spending time with family and friends.
Once of Danny's favorite Bible verses is Ecclesiastes 4:12.

John Herzog is retired from the mortgage banking industry and is a Vietnam combat veteran. He served as an elder for The Gracepointe Church of Christ in Montgomery Alabama for 24 years where he also served as the pulpit minister for 2 years.
Upon retirement, John and Linda moved to McKinney in 2015 and became members of the High Pointe family that same year.
John has been married to his wife Linda for 49 years. They have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
John's favorite verse is Philippians 2:12-13.
"Each of us must work out our own salvation, we cannot depend on the faith of others. It must be God working his will in each of us through our personal relationships with His Son." |

Jason served as Deacon for several years here at High Pointe before coming a Shepherd.
He has been self employed for the last 18 years and owns Lokey Construction.
He enjoys fishing, skiing and working out.
Jason's favorite bible passage is 1 Peter 4:10-11.
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. Zack and his wife, Linda, along with their children, Marchell, Meridth and Zack Mitchell moved to High Pointe in 2002. He was born and raised in a small Church of Christ, located in Italy, TX.
Zack and Linda worked in the children’s worship ministry here at High Pointe for 10 years. Zack has been serving as a deacon for the last 4 years.
Professionally, Zack and Linda McConnell are the owners and operators of Approved In Home Care, a quality North Texas based care giving services company.
Zack's favorite bible passage is Isaiah 40:31.
