 Called - Vision 2020

In 1917, three families came together to dream of a church that honored God, exalted Jesus, and followed the Spirit.  This was the early beginning of what we call the High Pointe Church of Christ.  Their vision was to live out the mission of Christ by sharing the good news, caring for others, and ministering to all people.

Now, a hundred years later, we reflect what this church has done to live out that dream: building a facility for worship, community and education; reaching out to Vega Elementary and the Skyway Apartments; serving others through the Samaritan Inn, Community Lifeline and other works; and proclaiming the good news of Jesus both locally and globally.

While honoring and celebrating God’s gracious and generous work among us in the past, the shepherds of this church invite us to courageously look toward the future as we share the joy of God’s love in Collin County and throughout the world.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

High Pointe’s vision is to participate with God in the restoration of all things as we Grow with God, Connect in community, and Serve others to change and restore our broken world.

Our Jerusalem - Renovate our campus to create a welcoming space that provides for the needs of our growing children and youth ministries, enhances our times of worship, encourages discipleship, and provides a means of financial sustainability for our future.

Our Judea & Samaria - Minister to children, youth, young adults and families in our city through outreach to local schools, neighborhoods and organizations.  Invite students, neighbors and friends to respond to Jesus through expanded outreach efforts, dedicated prayer teams, and evangelistic training.

Our Ends of the Earth - Increase High Pointe’s mission and medical initiatives in El Salvador.

Partner with organizations that seek to transform these same communities for Christ. Encourage High Pointe member involvement in these mission efforts and others.

To accomplish these dreams, High Pointe will launch a three-year capital campaign to fund our Vision 2020.  Goals of the campaign include community outreach, expanded mission efforts, and renovating our campus.
